Calendar and Announcements for the Week of June 27

UNION SERVICES WITH EAST WOODSTOCK begin next Sunday (and continue through Sept. 5). Services in July will be here, and August and Sept. 5th at EWCC. Starting in July, Ellen Boylan, our church secretary, will be in the office only on Monday mornings (8:00 - 12:00) until August 16. If you need her assistance at any other time during this summer, please contact her at the office any Monday morning, or ellieboylan@yahoo.com to make special arrangements. Jamie Harrison will be on vacation the month of July, and on study leave for three weeks in August. If you are in need of pastoral care of the church during that period of time, please contact one of our Senior Deacons - Lynn Singleton (963-7229) or John Holt (412-0087).

CHILDREN OF ALL AGES are invited to come downstairs this morning at 10:00 to explore the Parable of the Lost Coin!

THE FLOWER COMMITTEE is missing a few vases as well as the liners for the brass floral containers. If you have seen any of these items, please return them to the upstairs servery as soon as possible. Thank you!

MESSAGE FROM THE DEACONS

The process of selecting an interim minister is starting to unfold.. The Deacons are working with the Connecticut Conference, United Church of Christ, and Eastern Regional Minister, Susan Tarolli, to make our selection. We have just received four profiles this week and we are expecting two more to come in. In the next few weeks, we will be reading these profiles of the candidates and hope to select three to come in for an interview. Our plan is to have an interim minister in place by the first Sunday in October, and we will keep you updated. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to ask any of the Deacons for information.
