A few notes for July

Continuing a long tradition, our two congregations have joined to worship together during the summer months at 10:00 a.m., July 4 - July 25 here, and August 1 - September 5 at East Woodstock Congregational Church. Child care is provided, and a coffee hour and time of fellowship will follow the service.

COMPASSION CAMP will be visiting Second Chance Animal Shelter on July 30th and are collecting the following items to bring: canned cat food, dog food, paper towels, exam gloves, and used towels and sheets, any size. There is a collection bin in the Great Room for donations. Thanks!

THE GLOBAL GETAWAY TRIP at Heifer Project Overlook on July 18 - 19 still has 6 spots open! (Ages 11 and up, cost is $50.00 pp). Build a fire to cook a simple meal, and sleep in rustic housing. By living the lessons of poverty firsthand, you will come to understand the complications surrounding hunger and poverty and see your connection in creating change that brings possibility and hope to millions.
