Summer Sunday School And Child Care


A special welcome to our friends from East Woodstock as well as those who may be visiting with us this morning. Throughout the month of July there will be Sunday School lessons downstairs for children in Grades Pre-K through 8. The nursery will be open and staffed for newborns and toddlers. Alternately, youth may enjoy worship in the sanctuary with their families. This summer we are featuring some of the parables of Jesus.


The JYG/Sunday School Trip to Sight and Sound Theatre has been officially booked! Five adults and eight youth are excited to be attending the amazing stage production of Jonah on August 8th, 2012, and spending an overnight in Lancaster at the beautiful UCC Church of The Apostles Youth Center...a two story building dedicated to the youth of the church!!! We are now in the midst of finalizing plans, one of which will allow us a closer look at the Amish religion and culture. We still have a number of reserved seats, though actual seating with our group may no longer be available. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Women's Fellowship will be starting the process of creating several different Jar Items for the Christmas Fair. You can help by donating 1 or 2 or the following:

white flour, white sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, walnuts, pecans, coconut. Only un-opened bags please! Your donations can be left in the next 2 weeks, on the large basket labeled for this purpose in Harrison Hall.

We will be collecting items for donation to Back to School for TEEG. New back pack and any school supplies are needed. Leave anytime in the next 5 weeks in Harrison Hall on the designated table.
