Announcements and Calendar for the Week of Nov. 21
THANKSGIVING BASKETS: Just a reminder that this Sunday, Nov, 21 is the day that your collections of food for the Thanksgiving baskets are due into the church. Please plan to have all items in by late afternoon. You can leave the food downstairs in the kitchen. The social workers will be picking everything up very early Monday morning. Once again, this committee thanks you for your generosity. ~Lynn & Tom Singleton, Co-chairs CTC
THANKS seems like such a small word, but it surely covers the feelings of all those who were involved in the planning for CHRISTMAS ON THE HILL So many of you joined the effort----you volunteered your time and your talents! You encouraged your neighbors to come out and enjoy the Fair. Many of you contributed cakes, and antiques and crafted lovely ornaments; you also cooked and served our guestsJ I apologize if I have missed the particular contribution you made, but know we thank you too! May the blessings of the Advent season be showered on you & yours! Thanks again!!!! Your “Toys for York” need to be in the church office by December 5. See SHARE if you need details.
ABANDONED POTS: Two crockpots are pining for their owners in the main kitchen. Please take them home if they are yours. Thanks!

The homeschoolers will meet to package holiday baking mixes for TEEG, make seasonal crafts, and share in a potluck Thanksgiving style meal. A special thank you to Dana Swenson and the Trustees for permitting our group use of our beautiful space. ~Jennifer John
Dear Church Family,
It's time to get ready for Gift Sunday, which is Dec. 12, just a few short weeks away. Here is how it works. For the next three Sundays, your CTC team will have the 90 Tags for Tots & Teens available after church in the Great Room. All you need to do is pick out the tag or tags that you want to be responsible for, find the number on the tag, & using that number find it on our sign up sheets. Once you have done this, sign your name on the line that matches your number. That is the easy part. The challenging part can be finding the gift that the child is requesting, but with hard work & help from our youth in the church, you can do it.
Bring your gifts in on Gift Sunday, Dec. 12. Remember to attach the tag to the bag the gift is in. You can include a gift bag, or Christmas paper and bows with your gift, but please do not wrap any of the gifts!
Thanks so much. Gift Sunday is always such a heartwarming event, so plan on being part of helping these families who have so little, to be able to give one gift to each of their children. Thank you for your generosity.
~Lynn & Tom Singleton
